KUNZ - No 101 Pocket Plane

This handy plane is the Kunz No.100 squirrel tail plane but without the tail.
perfect for producing chamfers and also for fine trimming work.
The body is manufactured from fine grey cast iron coated with the distinctive KUNZ green epoxy resin.
The iron is produced from optimum quality tool steel and hardened to approximately 62 Rockwell HRC.
KUNZ supply the plane with the iron sharpened, but we would highly recommend that it be hohned prior to use. Lapping the sole on 320g Wet and Dry abrasive paper on a flat surface i.e a piece of float glass will take the plane to another level.
