This piece is used for internal doors where privacy is required. A thumb turn and release is required to operate the bolt. The door is unlocked by throwing the bolt. In emergencies the bolt may be thrown using a coin release from the outside.
Suitable for use with 5mm thumb turn and emergency release spindles and for thumb turns requiring bolt fixing. Bolt is fully reversible for door handing and suitable for thumbturns that require bolt through fixing.
Includes dust box for strike plate.
