FISCH Wave cutter Forstner bits are designed and engineered in Austria. The bits are forged, before being CNC ground and then hardened. This means that accuracy and sharpness are a premium.
The unique 'Wave' cutter design has many benefits compared to a traditional Forstner. The serrated 'Wave' edge generates considerably less heat so higher cutting speeds can be used and less effort needed to achieve each hole.
