FISCH Wave cutter Forstner bits are designed and engineered in Austria. The bits are forged, before being CNC ground and then hardened. This means that accuracy and sharpness are a premium.
The unique 'Wave' cutter design has many benefits compared to a traditional Forstner. The serrated 'Wave' edge generates considerably less heat so higher cutting speeds can be used and less effort needed to achieve each hole.
These imperial bits are forged from one piece of high quality tool steel for extra strength and are all machined to have 3/8" shanks making swapping bits a quick and easy process.
Made in Austria.
For the best results, use in a pillar drill. Overall length: 3½"
