SAIT Abrasives (UK) Ltd was founded in 1963. The operational center in Leicester occupies an area of 15,000 sq meters, of which 2,000 are under cover.
All products are stored in their original packaging in a controlled environment, where temperature and humidity are maintained at the correct level to guarantee optimum storage conditions.
Paper and cloth are stored in jumbo rolls and converted into customer’s requirements in our modern plant. Trained personnel operate specially developed automatic machines that will guarantee consistently the high standard required for our finished product. Converting the wide range of products required by our customers from jumbo rolls, involves a number of different operations. Each one unique and essential to the quality and final performance of the abrasive tools. Each stage of manufacturing is fully documented. This information is recorded and filed under a unique batch number, which is also transferred to the label of each unit pack.
Stock is constantly rotated to conform with the shelf life recommended for each type.
By agreement, reserved stock may be kept to meet specific customer’s needs.
