Traditional design with a heavy section that makes it ideal for levering waste wood from deep mortices for tenons, locks and hinges.
A special taper prevents the blade binding in the cut. Blade length 6 1/4", overall tool length 11"
The brass ferruled boxwood handle will accept light blows from a mallet.
