This chisel is a real solid workhorse. The thick blade cross section makes them suitable for more demanding work such as deep recesses in tough timbers where leverage may need to be applied. The blade legths vary from 4 5/8" to 7". The ash handles feature steel hoops at either end for strength and stability and allow for repeated blows from a mallet. The handles are correctly sized for each chisel in the range, ensuring each is perfectly balanced in use. Overall tool lengths are from 10 1/2" to 13"
