Simple black iron casement fastener with mortice and hook plate suitable for use with weather stripped windows. Part of the latest smooth, black iron range of external hardware from M. To meet modern design preferences M. Marcus have removed the deep surface indentations found in traditional black ironmongery. Leaving only the natural surface grains to create a rustic yet smoother contemporary appearance. These black iron casement fasteners will complement traditional solid wooden windows or light coloured window fronts. Through use and time, the metal will not be affected by the elements due to quality and production process.
The smooth black casement fasteners in this collection are made from malleable iron, treated with zinc phosphating process and then powder coated that has unique UV protection added to the coating process making these a great choice for external use.
